Julen Lopetegui, Sevilla FC head coach, spoke to the media this Tuesday afternoon in the press conference prior to tomorrow's game against Cádiz CF, in what will be match day thirty-four in LaLiga. The coach from the Basque country started by saying that "I'm expecting the match to be a final, we both have our objectives, both different, but we have to deal with it. Our opponents have changed a lot of things but they have kept the same core spirit. They've won at the Nou Camp, they drew with Madrid... My intuition tells me it's going to be hard, long and complicated."

"There are no two coaches the same, now they have Sergio's personality. Cádiz have this current core spirit, as well as having top level players competing at the top level. We have to prepare ourselves for this type of opponent," he added.

Lopetegui was questioned about some individual players and a possible points record, something that doesn't worry him in the slightest: "Martial is still injured and Tecatito has had niggle this week and we won't know until tomorrow if he is available. Everyone else is prepared. Our minds aren't set on anything else but beating Cádiz tomorrow. There is no other alternative scenario other than giving 100%. Our full attention and energy is required."

The Sevilla coach also reemphasised his happiness in being the coach “I have already said I am where I want to be, there is nothing else to say in this regard. Now we are focusing on the game tomorrow but my family and me are happy here.”

Finishing off, Lopetegui replied about the fact that there is no point complaining about what has happened in the past and he was also questioned about Idrissi in the Cádiz press conference. “Taking a look back always makes you do this, that you could have done things better… like every team. But you can’t allow yourself to do this, only allow yourself to look forward. Tomorrow will be a very difficult game and we have to give it everything that we can with the visit of Cádiz who are playing well. Oussama is now a Cádiz player. We will try to play on the counterattack. He is a good player who is there now and who is having a good second half of the season.”
