If there's one man in the dressing room who knows new arrival Kjaer well, it's compatriot Michael Krohn-Dehli. The Danish player was interviewed by SFC Radio at midday to assess how pre-season is gong and to delve into the profile of his new teammate: “I've played many games for the national team with him. He's a good player, a good teammate, he's very quiet and he likes to work hard”.

Michael gave more details about the player's characteristics: “Off the pitch he's very quiet, but when he's on it he's very tough and he always wants to win. He always want to come out on top in duels and he's great with his head. Physically, he's strong and he's good at playing with his feet. We already have very good defenders in the team, and Kjaer will work a lot with them”.

As for Kjaer's integration in the group, Krohn-Dehli believes that “it will be easy for him to adapt, I'm going to help him a lot, but I'm sure that without me he would adapt well because he's used to moving to new teams”.

He also referred to the preparation of the squad and the development of pre-season: “We're making good progress, but there is still a lot of work ahead, to be better as a team and also to be at a higher level individually. We're excited by the signings, the club has done very well. The fans love to see new faces and I think they are happy. We love the fans and we want to respond to them”.

This Friday they will find out their opponent in the Champions League play-off: “Every possible opponent is a good team, we're working to be at our best when those games come around”.

Finally, on a personal level, he assured everyone that “right now I'm doing well, my body is responding well to the work and the demand. Physically I'm good, I want to keep working like this and I hope my body continues working this well”.
