Karim Rekik was interviewed this Tuesday on 'A Balón Parado' by Sevilla FC TV. The Sevilla central defender began by speaking about his adaptation and the anthem. "The first time that I heard it, it was amazing and now when we play at home you see everybody and this will always stay with me. I have adapted well. I love Sevilla. I learned the language very quickly without classes and by speaking with teammates."

One of the key points of the interview mediated by Roberto Arrocha was the moment in which he referred to the current coach, Julen Lopetegui, where he greatly praised the Basque. "Lopetegui asks that the players give everything and that with give our heart and soul on the pitch. This is very in character for me and I think because of this we play well together. I arrived here with many good players but I am a guy gaining confidence, training well every day without drama. I am not a player who loses their head. Experience helps you to relax in every situation that might come your way."

Also, he highlighted the moment he decided to sign for Sevilla FC. "I had other options but when I heard about the opportunity at Sevilla, I told my agent that I wanted to come here. It was the last day in the transfer market and everything happened very quickly despite coronavirus. From that day on I didn't look back." Also, the Dutchman was surprised live on air by Nemanja Gudelj, a teammate who he said had helped him a lot to adapt. He then finished by speaking about the atmosphere in the changing room. "The environment has always been very good in the changing room. The players are always happy and hungry."
