"The second half was disastrous"

Joan Jordán stated that Sevilla let the game slip away after leading two nil at half-time: "The only way they were going to get something from the game was if we gave them something - which we did. They got back into the game through a penalty. To play like we did in the first half in Ipurua is hard to do; but the second half was completely disastrous. We have to learn from these mistakes and continue working hard, so that what happened today, never happens again".

"It's very difficult to play any better than what we did in the first half. We made them suffer a lot at the start of the game and then we went backwards and stopped playing well. We are a big team and this can't happen again".

Jordán declared that "we knew where we were coming and what we had to do; in the first half we did it, and in the second we most definitely did not".
