Jesús Navas, Sevilla FC's captain, anaylsed the loss against Eibar: "The team did not play in the same way in the second half and this cannot happen again. They weren't causing us problems. They got back into the game with that penalty, then the way that second goal came, we lost control of the match".
"The team that went out in the second half was not like the one in the first half, this cannot happen. It's true that they came out better in the second half, but they didn't cause us any problems until the penalty, that's how they got back into the game. Then that second goal came".
The defensive stability shown during this season was not on display in the second half, after two "untimely errors which have let them back into the match. But we have to keep going. It's a real shame because taking a 2-0 lead here is very difficult. All we can do is keep our heads up".
