Betfair joined the Sevilla family this Thursday and were represented by a number of their team members who completed the signing of a sponsorship deal with the Club and got to know the stadium and sports village in the city. One of them, Francisco Zafra, Campaign Manager of the company, spoke to SFC Radio about the new deal: "You only have to look at Sevilla's numbers to show that we're happy. This deal makes us very happy because there was a gap in Andalusia and we're truly delighted. It's an agreement for two seasons, with the aim of becoming champions in what's to come. The Europa League this year and we're sure the team will return to the Champions League next year".

Naturally, Betfair will be in touch with Sevillistas from the very first moment: "The fans are some of the best in Spain, they support throughout the match and it's a huge and attractive Club, with a big social mass behind it. We want to get close to them so they get to know our brand. Betfair is the leading bookie in the UK, it has a market of diverse European nations and a sponsoring relationship with FC Barcelona, Arsenal, Juventus and Real Madrid's basketball team".

"We came to capture titles and, in fact, in the negotiation we did not accept a bonus for winning them. The win against Manchester United and above all that final against Liverpool made a big impact in England because it made people realise that Sevilla is a big Club ready to compete against anybody".

To finish up, Zafra evaluated the strategic placement of Betfair's logo on Sevilla's shirts: "On the third kit we're placed with that yellow background with looks very good and that we love. We're not only going to boast about this deal, we're also going to bang on about Sevilla because we like them a lot, we love its fans and we know they're going to make us very happy".
