David Soria, who started in Ernesto Marcucci's Sevilla side to host FC Cartagena last night, emphasised the imprtance of the tie for players who do not get as many minutes: "These matches are important for those who don't play as much, to continue with a good rhythm and be prepared for when the boss needs us".

He stressed that in the Copa del Rey, there are no easy games against weaker opposition: "in these games you have a lot more to lose than to win and you can't relax. You have to respect the opponent". On Saturday's clash with Deportivo La Coruña, he again emphasised the importance of another home win: "They're three very important points to keep us in the top end of the table and help us achieve our aim of Champions League football".
