CORREA: “THIS IS THE REWARD FOR WORK WE'VE BEEN DOING FOR A LONG TIME NOW”

Joaquín Correa spoke to the press moments after securing a place in the final of the Copa del Rey: "It's an incredible feeling, it's the reward of work we've been doing and struggling to achieve for a long time now". 

He also praised the opponents, who Correa said: "Know what they're playing for. They came in doing things really well - a team more than worthy of a semi-final. The happiness comes from having done things how we had to do them". 

"In the moments we were struggling we knew to be together, to be a team and thanks to that we've reached the final", he added, before looking ahead to the final stretch of the season: "We have to continue with maximum commitment for the remainder of the season and we can't waiver at any point".
