"We get on really well in the day to daythe atmosphere is very goodthe group is very united and that is key to achieving the objectives we planned at the start of the season. What I experienced at Eibar is very different to what I experience at Sevilla, the aims were very different, but everything was very familiar. I never thought I'd find something similar. Here we aren't just a great family, but above all a very good group and that is something very difficult to find at other clubs. It's very difficult to create what we've created here this year", stated Joan Jordán

The Catalan midfielder spoke about his arrival last year, and can only describe the group as "unique": "An important project has been done this yearvery good players were signedbutas peoplethey're even better. In the difficult moments that we went through, the easy thing was to just send rubbish amongst us, and in that aspect, the team came out stronger, there were never bad faces between us. There's no bad feeling between teammates or between positions. I've been at clubs where the full backs don't talk to each otherhere they're best friendsIt's unique, tough to achieve and it does make you a unique team. We've reached our aims because of it and now we have a very nice final".

Joan Jordán: "It's very difficult to create what we've created here this year"

Joan Jordán only had praise for Lopetegui and Monchi: “When I signed, I knew what I was coming into. Monchi is very important, the project he's done is impressive, he's given a lot to the club and we knew he had returned to the club for something important. Then, the coaching staff, headed by Julen. All the ingredients were made with those two people, and then everyone, to do something important. Since the start you could see what the team could giveIn factthere's still room to improve. We deserve the right to dream in this final".

Óliver Torres also spoke about the strength of the group: "The most important thing is sharing moments and for me it's very nice to do it with them. We've spent a long time working for this objectivewe're in our best form and I hope we can do itBut whatever happens I'll be very proud of my teammates. What we have achieved this year goes beyond titles and wins, it'll stay with us forever. Teammates who have gone, like Rony, Pozo, Bryan, Chicharito, Nolito and Dabbur send us messages of support before every match. It says a lot about the human quality that was signed this year and they're part of it. If we get the win, they'll be part of it too".

"Teammates who have gone send us messages of support before every match"

Although the fans won't be in the stadium, the squad will have them present during the final: "I've always said a large part of this triumph would be for them. We've experienced so many problems this year and I know they enjoy these matches a lotI hope we can give them this Europa League because it would be a very happy moment for the Sevilla FC family. Let them embrace each other and just by looking at each other they say they're happy. It'll only have been worth it for that".

Another pillar in the dressing room is Sergi Gómez: "A large part of the success is down to the team there isWe've had to overcome many obstacles this season and it wouldn't have been possible any other way. There were many changes, many players joined, but above all people, they make the day to day much easier. It's everyone merit, those of us who are in Germany and those who are in Sevilla sending us messages, doing their bit. You don't have to force anything you don't fancyEveryone is here with the desire to get another one despite individual circumstances and it's part of the success".

"There were many changes and many new players, but above all they're people"

He also spoke about the return of Gudelj, and the big push that it was: "It is something that you do not prepare for, the instinct of the team is what makes it born. We know that he felt ok at home and that it was nothing serious, but the fact that Gudelj was able to come and be with us in a final makes us very happy and is a pride for all of us".
