WHO CAN SEVILLA FC DRAW THIS AFTERNOON?

The most likely are the two German clubs, with the two English ones and Paris Saint-Germain behind them. The probabilities range from 13%-20%

Today isn't just another Monday for Sevilla FC. From 12:00 CET, the Club will be included in a draw for a European competition, something they have got quite used to in the past years. This time it is the Champions League Round of 16 and there are six options for the Nervionenses: Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Mánchester City, Juventus, Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain.

The chances of drawing each club is not equal, however. The two most likely draws for Sevilla this afternoon are Bayern Munich or Borussia Dortmund, with 20.73% and 20.82% chance of drawing them respectively. The next in line is Juventus with 17.94% of a chance. The least likely, between 13%-14%, are PSG, Liverpool and Manchester City.

As you cannot draw a team from the group you were in or a team from your country in the last-16, Chelsea and Real Madrid are not possibilities this afternoon. The draw will take place in UEFA's headquarters in Nyon from 12:00 CET. Two things are sure, however: Sevilla will play the first leg at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán and the second away from home. And secondly, Sevilla's presence in the UCL last-16 draw speaks of their exponential growth in recent years. The team are well used to facing teams of this calibre, with all six clubs having played at the Sánchez-Pizjuán.
