Carriço lamented the fact that Sevilla did not start the match 'like we wanted' this Saturday against FC Barcelona. 'We fell behind so we had to play a more open game and expose ourselves, while they were able to make the most of the chances they had.'

'They scored in key moments during the game. We were on the verge of hurting them, we had a great opportunity to make it 2-1 but they scored the third and the fourth killed the game off. We wanted to get a goal right at the start of the second half and look for the second, but they got their goals at key moments,' added Carriço.

'We came with lots of ambition to play against one of the best teams in the world. We tried, but those first few minutes killed us,' concluded the defender.
