José María Cruz, general director of Sevilla FC, presented the budget for the 2023/24 campaign - for which the turnover is projected to be 201 million - in item 10 of the General Shareholders' Meeting for 2023. Meanwhile, a general income of €238 million is forecast, a figure which includes a total of €35 million from transfers and €2 million from other revenue streams. The €238 million total comes in lower than the €259 million indicated in the annual accounts, which were not approved at the shareholders' meeting. €163.4 million of the budget has been allocated to the cost of playing staff, compared to €193.1 million last year, while operational costs are projected to reach €74.6 million, dropping from €83.7 million last season.

Broken down, the forecasted income from on-pitch competition is €80 million, five million less than the 2021/2022 season. Subscriptions are due to bring in €16 million, broadcasting €75 million and marketing €30 million. "The aim is to break even this year, an improvement on last year's €19 million loss," added Cruz.
