Borja Lasso evaluated victory against FC Cartagena which saw the young midfielder start and earn a Man of the Match award. The homegrown Sevillista nearly added a fifth towards the end of the game - an opportunity that left him wanting to join the goal-fest: "It left me wanting a goal but I'm happy to continue picking up minutes".

He spoke about the satisfaction of the side after putting themselves through to the round-of-16 without complications: "After what we saw yesterday in Madrid, you can't rely on anything but luckily the two goals at the start helped us get the result on track. We're very happy with our progress to the next round".

He also emphasised the fact that the team has shown good form in three competitions: "We're enthusiastic and working well. The team wants to do well in the three competitions and we're going to go for all of them".
