ARSLAN: 'PLAYING HERE IS LIKE WINNING A TITLE FOR US'

Cihat Arslan, Akhisarspor's manager, attended the press conference ahead of tomorrow's encounter in the UEFA Europa League. The Turkish coach declared that 'We're going to play against a big European team and playing here is like winning a title for us. We're aware that we're visiting a team that will respect what we can do and we'll go out there and try to play in the best way possible within our capabilities to try to win.'

'We're a modest club but we've won a cup and beaten good teams in Turkey. This year the situation is different, with lots of injuries and missing players, but we're all trying to help as much as we can. We're going through a tough spell, maybe we deserve to have more points in the league but we have to continue fighting for our objectives. Tomorrow we'll have to make changes, but whoever plays, they'll give their very best,' commented Arslan.

The Turkish team trained on the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán pitch after the press conference in their last training session ahead of the match on Thursday night at 21:00 CEST.
