ANDRÉ SILVA CALLED UP FOR PORTUGAL

André Silva has been called up once again by Fernando Santos for Portugal despite missing the last few games for Sevilla after a knock he suffered against SD Huesca, being forced to come off early in the second half. Silva will join up with the Portugal squad to face Italy at the San Siro on Saturday 17 November and to host Poland in Guimarães three days later on 20 November, with both matches being part of the UEFA Nations League.

Due to a communication error with the Portuguese Federation, it was reported that Daniel Carriço would also be called up, but ultimately he will not be joining up with the Portugal squad.
