Sevilla FC will look to win this competition for the second time against Bayern next month

Today, Tuesday 25th August, marks fourteen years since Sevilla FC won their first UEFA Super Cup, against FC Barcelona at the Stade Louis II in Monaco. They had qualified for the tournament after the first UEFA Cup win in Eindhoven. Fourteen years since the club's only UEFA Super Cup to date, after a stunning 3-0 win in a memorable match. Renato, Kanouté and Maresca scored the goals as the club started a dream campaign for the Blanquirrojos.

There is less than a month until the next appearance in the tournament, as Sevilla FC will look to win it for the second time against Bayern Munich at the Puskas Arena in Budapest, after falling to defeat in their last four appearances, against AC Milan, Real Madrid twice and FC Barcelona.

This evening, SFC TV will broadcast a rerun of that match at 18:00, before airing a rerun of last Friday's UEFA Europa League Final win against Inter in Cologne, the club's sixth UEFA Europa League trophy.
