It's not easy to be a prophet in your hometown, but Joaquín Caparrós certainly is, given the love and recognition he receives. This Wednesday, he received a warm tribute in Utrera, demonstrating how far he has risen and how he represents Utrera wherever he goes.

Rafael Sierra's tribute to Caparrós was particularly emotional, remembering his parents, Antonia and Carmen. The warmth of the moment moved Caparrós, who could not hide his emotions as he went on stage: 'Thank you for awarding me this special prize and your kind words. Receiving a prize in your hometown is an added plus.'

The President, José Castro, and José Antonio Reyes, also from Utrera, were in the Caseta Matute paying homage to Joaquín Caparrós, who was treated to an unforgettable evening in which it was obvious how much the Director of Football wanted to be in his hometown.
