Nemanja Gudelj was the man of the match in Mallorca with his first goal which secured the three points: "It was about time I scored a goal and I'm very happy, although I'm happier for the victory because the team and the fans deserve it. They are still there out there singing and well done to everybody because we have to keep it up. We're feeling a new lease of life, I think you can see it on the pitch and the other day in Dortmund we played very well."

"Today we also dominated most of the game, although it's true that we need to create more chances and score goals. We are improving and that's what matters, we always want to win, sometimes you play well and sometimes not so good, but you have to be an organised team, that wants to play, create chances and win. Personally, I feel the coaches confidence, I've played a few games and that's very good for my confidence and I'm trying to repay him on the pitch."

Back in the starting line-up, Alex Telles explained the difficulty of the win: "Every game is important and today was no different. We came away happier today with the three points in a difficult game, in which we had lots of possession but needed to create more chances. The team managed to stay focused until the end, we suffered but came out at the end with the three points."

The game was strange because we didn't create chances, but we talked at half-time about being more aggressive, we came on differently and Nema scored a great goal. I want to thank the fans because their support is very important. We were conceding a lot of goals and we talked a lot in the dressing room. With Jorge's first win, we're going to continue to evolve to be where Sevilla need to be".

Bono, who got his first clean sheet of the season continued by saying: "They pressed us well at the beginning, they were intense and determined, but we improved bit by bit, we understood the game and we felt comfortable. We didn't generate much because they defended very well, but in the second half we held our line and found that wondergoal from Nema.

At the end we sat back a bit, they pushed, but we are very happy to win and because the team understands that we are still growing and we can continue to improve our game. Goalkeepers always try to do their job without thinking about the result. What matters to me is that the team feels comfortable and wants to improve because that's what gets you results."
