MONTELLA: "IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO RESPOND AGAINST SUCH GREATNESS"

Sevilla FC coach, Vincenzo Montella, appeared before the press tonight to discuss his side's painful defeat in the Copa del Rey Final: "It was a formidable match from them, when they're at that level its impossible for us. We had a chance after their first goal, but with their quality players it proved impossible".

"We tried every way we could, but it wasn't possible for us. I am sorry to every fan that has travelled here today and that sung up until the final whistle, spurring us on. Tomorrow we will get back to work in order to move on from what has happened", commented the Italian.

Montella spoke about the physical form of the team: "We're not at our best, it can happen to any team, and right now it's us. We have to react because we have 5 matches left whereby we need to finish in the best way possible and qualify for the Europa".
