ESCUDERO: "WE HAVE TO MATCH THEIR ENTHUSIASM"

Sergio Escudero was one of the first to discuss today's Copa del Rey semi-final draw: "Leganés played well in the quarter-finals and they deserve to be in the semi-finals just as much as we do. They come off a good year and we have to concentrate. Under no circumstances can we sit back and relax because anything can happen". The Sevillista spoke positively about hosting the second leg: "I'm happy that we'll be playing the second leg at home. At home against Atlético the fans spurred us on. For us this is great news". 

On the fact that the Leganés side are fighting for their first Copa del Rey final: "We need to match their enthusiasm for the final because they're making history and they are really hoping to get there, just as we are wanting to return to the finals and bag another title. We need to be motivated if we are to win another Cup title". These semi-finals also come amidst a positive run for the Sevillista side: "We come off a week of great results. The results show that the team has been able to come out the other side of a bad run and we need to look ahead. We will focus on getting the three points this Sunday, then we will set our sights on the semi-finals". 

The strength of the group will be fundamental if we are to get to the final: "The changing room is always a unit and it is vital for us to be one with our fans. All titles have been won thanks to this and we need to continue as we are". That being said, the importance of this Sunday's clash shouldn't be forgotten: "Getafe is a team that positions themselves well on the pitch. They play well and we have to go out there with our heads held high".
