Sports Director of Sevilla FC, Óscar Arias, discussed on SFC Radio the draw for the round of 32 for the Copa del Rey, which he attended this Thursday alongside President  José Castro. "Knowing the teams that are in pot and knowing that the teams are in Segunda B, Cartagena is a team with a lot of character, a good stadium, a beautiful city, it is a match that we are going to have to face with competitiveness if we want to qualify for the next round".

In this sense, he added "we cannot deny the favouritism that exists. We want to get as far as possible in the competition. Our aspirations are high and the hope is to go all the way...Sevilla´s tradition is rooted in this competition and we are striving to do as well as we can".

Arias imagines that in the upcoming match Berizzo will make rotations, but nothing unlike those already seen on the pitch during the tournament: "since the manager arrived at the club he has utilised the team according to what is necessary for each match specifically and for this meeting, he will do the same".

With regards to the team, Arias points out "we are on the right track. Even so, there are a lot of things that we must address in order to improve, but we have started well, and we hope that in the Copa del Rey we will perform just as well".
