Ørjan Nyland was unveiled on Thursday as a new Sevilla player. The new Sevilla goalkeeper, who was unveiled alongside Lukébakio, first highlighted that he has received a warm welcome: "It's been a warm welcome, I'm learning Spanish, I understand a bit of it and getting better every day." Additionally, he was asked about one of his predecessors, Yassine Bono: "Bono is a great goalkeeper, this club traditionally has great goalkeepers, and I'm really excited to play for Sevilla, see the stadium, and be with the fans."

Regarding his adaptation and preparation before arriving in Nervión, he said, "During the first part of pre-season, I was training with Leipzig and later with my own goalkeeper coach. I was also training with the national team coach, and now I've had three training sessions with the team." He also talked about the opportunity of joining Sevilla FC: "It's a fantastic opportunity for me to play in a Champions League team. I'm really looking forward to being Sevilla's goalkeeper. I spoke with Víctor, and I believe it was the right step in my career, and I'm eager to get started."

He also mentioned that José Luis Silva has been helping him since his arrival: "I talked to Silva during the training sessions. We've been watching videos, analyzing goalkeepers' play, including my own, and I have to adapt. I know we'll work well together." Speaking specifically about the Sevilla team, he expressed his eagerness to achieve the best: "Last year was challenging for Sevilla, but they ended up winning the Europa League. We also want to win titles with this team. We've come to a new country and need to adapt quickly, learn the language to integrate."

To close he was asked about his qualities as a goalkeeper. "My best quality is my attitude on the field, and obviously stopping all the shots that come my way."
