WOMEN'S WORLD CUP TROPHY TO BE DISPLAYED AT JESÚS NAVAS STADIUM ON SATURDAY

Sevilla FC Femenino's season opener Madrid CFF will welcome a very special guest on Saturday: the World Cup trophy lifted by the Spanish women's team last month in Sydney. 

The trophy will be placed on display at the Preferencia-Gol Norte entrance to the Jesús Navas Stadium from when doors open until just before Cristian Toro's team take to the pitch. It's a great opportunity to mark the historic feat of the national team, among whose members include Maria Pérez. The on-loan Sevilla midfielder is currently on international duty alongside her club teammates, Inma Gabarro and Cristina Martín-Prieto, who have enjoyed a successful start to their Nations League campaign.
