Julen Lopetegui spoke to the press after the win over SD Eibar: "All wins are hard-fought at the moment, everyone is leaving their skin out there and the reality is that every match is tough, today the end was almost like a Hitchcock script. We should have sealed the win before and not doing it meant nerves appeared, but in the end we deserved the three points. Every match will be a different battle and we have to be ready".

The manager spoke about the difficulty of Eibar and perfecting details ahead of the trip to Athletic on Thursday: "Eibar is a very good side, when they feel that inherent stress, they execute the plan to perfection. They came thinking if they could take points and they tried. They had chances, but we have to keep working because in no time at all we have a match at San Mamés".
About the run of results, he highlighted the side's desire during lockdown: "It's always important to win and we wanted to. We were close to winning all our matches but we didn't with those four draws, every match is very hard and there's a real evenness. Every match is a final".
To finish, he said there was no update on Vaclík's injury: "There's no news, we'll wait a bit and we hope it's nothing serious".
