After a week of training sessions with groups of up to 14 players, professional clubs will begin full squad training on Monday, as per the provisions of Order SND/458/2020. For this reason, from 1st June, the Sevilla FC training squad will all be able to train together at the Ciudad Deportiva José Ramón Cisneros Palacios.
"Professional sports clubs or Sports Corporations may develop training of a total nature aimed at a specific sports modality, complying with the corresponding prevention and hygiene measures. For the purposes of the provisions of this order, training of a total nature shall be understood as the development of tasks aimed at the preliminary phase of the competition, including exhaustive tactical work, which includes joint actions in groups of several sportsmen and women up to a maximum of fourteen persons".
It continues: "After the first week of full-scale training, the number of persons participating in the full-scale tactical work included in the training may be increased in accordance with the performance requirements in each case".
For LaLiga, as written in the statement, it is "a further step in the strict Training Protocol developed in coordination with the CSD, which has had four very distinct phases. The first one began at the beginning of May, when medical tests were carried out on all LaLiga Santander and LaLiga SmartBank clubs and individual training sessions started. Weeks later, on May 18, training began in small groups of up to ten players, which soon expanded to 14. The fourth phase, which starts next Monday, is the last step in this protocol that will lead the clubs to start the competition on June 11".
