Sevilla FC coach Julen Lopetegui showed his delight after last night's victory against Real Betis: 'We are satisfied with the win, we all know what it means to win a derby. We played well against a team who were in good form - the three points are so important. We had some scares in moments we could have avoided, but in general I think we defended well and prevented their best players from shining. There is a lot of heart and emotion in these games; it was vital to win.'

'Three points always boost you and even more so if they come in the derby. We deserved the win. But there isn't much time to celebrate. In three days we have another game against Elche and after Wednesday, three days until the next match against Valladolid. We have to recover well and prepare the team to get the best possible starting eleven out on Wednesday night.'
