Yet another magical European night was experienced in the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán against SS Lazio in the second leg of the UEFA Europea League Round of 32. With last night's 2-0 and last week's 1-0, the Nervionenses have made their way into the Round of 16 in Sevilla's favourite competition. Pablo Machín's men will be in the draw which begins at 13:00 CET on Friday to find out who their next opponent will be. But the story doesn't just stop with the progress into the next round.

After overcoming the side from Rome, Sevilla FC have become the club with the most consecutive wins in two-legged knockout ties in the UEFA Europa League. They have now picked up eighteen and have therefore beaten Borussia Monchengladbach's previous record of seventeen between 1974-1980. Since their defeat in 2011 against Hannover, Sevilla have not been knocked out of the tournament.
