Max Wöber was presented this Thursday morning at the Sánchez-Pizjuán. The Austrian centre-back started with a welcoming message in Spanish: 'I'm very happy to be here, I'm motivated for this new challenge.'

The new centre-back stated 'It's a big step for me moving here. I think Sevilla is a massive club and it's a challenge to play in the best league in the world and I will work to break into the starting eleven.'

Likewise, he went over his condition, saying he is ready to play now: 'I'm young, but I don't think your ability is determined by your age. I'm ready for what's asked of me, I think I'm going to do a good job here.'

'I'm aware I have to work hard and improve'

He also spoke of his first hours at the club, during which he saw 'a great team and I'm sure I'm at a top club. I really liked what I saw yesterday. There's great quality and some people who've made me feel at home which will help a lot. I've been told Sevilla is a great city, and the club even more so, and I think that will be really good for me.'

To finish, he showed his willingness to adapt to the Nervionenses' needs: 'I have to work hard and improve. It's important to learn Spanish quickly and give everything in every game to win all I can with the team.'
