A smile is back on Suso's face, that was clear after his appearance on A Balón Parado for Sevilla FC TV. He recognises that after a long time out injured and a fair few obstacles, he is happier now: "I am doing well, having overcome various little issues. I was frustrated to return and have to wait to get involved, even though it was not a long wait. It took a while to get to the point where I feel comfortable. I was training well and then I had to wait again for another eight days. Now I think we are through that and I am feeling good. It was a foot problem, and I now have a nutritionist to help me further."

Talking about the progress of the team, he is clear that they are taking forward steps: "Against Osasuna we couldn't qualify but it was good because we were competitive for the whole game and was a turning point because we saw what we were capable of. The other day against Elche we played well despite the circumstance, scoring three goals. We were impressive in the first half, but in the second we should have done a bit more to score another goal, but the best thing was that we were never put under particular pressure."

Talking about his own form, he does not hide from the fact that the mental side of his has helped him to get back into form: "The first two years here we won the Europa League, we were fighting for LaLiga... After the injury things changed, but this year is different. I have never thought too much about the importance of psychologists nor nutritionists, but when you have so long off the pitch you realise how important they are and how much they can help you."

And on the tough task at the Camp Nou: "It's a moment to show how we are getting better and that we can even compete against Barcelona, who is the best team at the minute.".
