0-0: THE RESERVES DRAW AGAINST COSTA BRAVA IN A FIXTURE THAT DESERVED A WINNER

Despite deserving the win, Sevilla Atlético were unable to get anything but a draw from the game played against Costa Brava at the Estadio Municipal de Palamós. Iván Romero saw his headed effort hit the cross bar in what was the first chance of the first half. Alejandro Acejo's boys weren't able take advantage of the chances they created in front of the goal defended by Marcos.  

Costa Brava started to dominate possession, with Ilays on the ball, the best chance of the first half came with Javi Díaz defending a deflected volley hit from just inside the 18-yard box. The even score would be reflected on the pitch for the entirety of the first half and both attacking sides would be kept away from each other's penalty areas. 

Luismi Cruz, after some great individual work on the right wing, would show Sevilla Atlético's signs of danger and Nacho Quitana went close with fierce effort, but the boys were unable to open the scoring. Sergio Gil, in a very similar fase of play, would send a shot towards Javi Díaz' goal but without causing the keeper any problems. 

The woodwork would deny Iván Romero's header finding the back of the net at the start of the second half 

It would be the Sevilla reserves that took the game to their opponents in the second half. After the restart, Capi forced Marcos into a save denying the ball entering the back of the net. Iván Romero, after a corner kick from Luismi Cruz, had a brilliant chance and headed the ball onto the crossbar. After a strong fifteen minutes of dominating play, Sevilla would slow things down as the all-important goal just wasn't arriving. 

Both managers modified their teams' setup in the search for a goal in the last stretch of the game. With added time coming to an end, Carlos Álvarez went close to meeting Juanlu's cross that would run across the goal mouth.
