Luis de la Fuente was the main guest in the preview before the match between Sevilla FC and Osasuna. The current national selector and ex-Sevilla player was delighted to return to where he considers home: "I have never stopped feeling as if Sevilla is my home, but I am very happy to be back here. It is emotional to be back somewhere where I experienced many happy moments and meeting up with many friends. I still hold dearly memories of the relationships I made here and this feeling of friendship is still present in my life, this means more than the professional experience I had here. I have always had support from the fans and this makes me very emotional, being a Sevillista and feeling at home here."
When speaking about the players eligible for the national side, he highlighted the ability of our players: "Sevilla FC always has great players and cares a lot about the national side. I celebrate this because it is the foundation for my work, we need Spanish footballers available for selection and it is great when there are players who can play for the national side. Bryan Gil is an example of this and I will say that Sevilla is one of best the clubs at giving their academy players a chance."
To close, he spoke about the fans as one of the important pillars for the club: "The fans are the driving force for any club and this will never not the be the case, you need a good fanbase to build everything else. The team has reacted to the fans and I am sure that we will see the best version of Sevilla soon. There is no easy game, I hope that these Spanish footballers have a good attitude as this will make my job even more difficult."
