Juan Soriano and Carlos Fernández do not feature in the squad

Just before the team set off for Cádiz, Julen Lopetegui confirmed the travelling squad for the league opener against Cádiz CF: The squad is as follows: Vaclík, Bono, Javi Díaz, Jesús Navas, Pozo, Koundé, Diego Carlos, Sergi Gómez, Acuña, Escudero, Fernando, Gudelj, Joan Jordán, Rakitic, Óliver Torres, Óscar Rodríguez, Franco Vázquez, Suso, Ocampos, Bryan Gil, Munir, En-Nesyri and De Jong.

The manager has picked the same squad as he did for the UEFA Super Cup in Budapest, apart from Juan Soriano and Carlos Fernández, who will stay in Sevilla.
