Sevilla FC's President, José Castro, presented the team's shirt to the Spanish consul in Miami on the Día de la Hispanidad, in an event where the delegation put an end to the stay in the United States. The purpose of the journey was the inauguration of the three soccer academies on American soil, two in New Jersey (Newark and Jersey City) and a third in Miami which may not be the only one. The SFC Soccer Academy in the United States, managed by the director, Miguel Angel Fernández, and his assistant, Hugo Echerbarría, is the start of a project aimed at implanting Sevilla's training methodology and brand abroad.

The journey, in which the Advisor and Director of the Club's Marketing Team, Luis Galán and Ramón Loarte took part, finished with the consulate's invitation to the club to celebrate the Día de la Hispanidad in their headquarters in Coral Gables, Miami. The reunion took place in the official residence of Cándido Creis and brought together influential members in Miami and Florida who have ties to Spain, with the presence of all Spanish businesses which have their headquarters in this American state, amongst whom Sevilla are now included.

Cándido Creis, in his speech, thanked Sevilla FC for their presence and was glad in receiving the gift of a Sevilla shirt. The manager of Tourism in Sevilla, Antonio Jiménez, and the manager of Fibes, Jesús Rojas, were present for the speech.
