With the three goals scored at the San Mamés, Pablo Machín's team kept up their goalscoring streak, a run thanks mostly to the great performances of their two starting strikers, André Silva and Ben Yedder, as well as Pablo Sarabia

With the three goals scored against Athletic Club in the cup this Thursday at the San Mamés, Sevilla have now passed the 70 goal mark this season, with 71 in the 34 official games they have played so far: 31 in La Liga, 18 in the Europa League group stage, 17 in the Europa League qualifying rounds, 4 in the Copa del Rey and 1 in the Spanish Supercup final.

Pablo Machín's team are the second highest scorers in the league and the top scorers in the UEFA Europa League

Excellent numbers from a team who have unleashed themselves offensively this season, largely thanks to the outstanding performances of their duo upfront: André Silva and Wissam Ben Yedder, who both added to their accounts on Thursday in the San Mamés.

Together, the two strikers have scored 26 goals: 16 for Ben Yedder - 9 in La Liga, 6 in the Europa League and 1 in the Copa del Rey - and 10 for Silva - 8 in La Liga and 2 in the Copa del Rey. But beyond their spectacular numbers, they also demonstrate a great understanding together on the pitch.

Ben Yedder, Silva and Sarabia have 41 goals between them, 24 of which have come in La Liga

Alongside the striking pair, Pablo Sarabia has made an important contribution with 15 goals: 7 in La Liga, 7 in the UEFA Europa League and 1 in the Spanish Supercup. Ben Yedder, Silva and Sarabia have 41 goals between them, 24 of which have come in La Liga.

With half a season still to go, there are many reasons to be optimistic regarding Sevilla's offence - they have failed to score in only six of their 34 games this season.
