The defender rued conceding in the last play to leave the game at a draw: 'We will learn from this so it doesn't happen again'

Sergi Gómez rued Valencia's equalising goal at the death which took two deserved points away from Sevilla: 'We knew it was a game that was worth even more than three points given that Valencia are always up there fighting for the top spots in the league. Their goal really hurts. We did everything we could to win but that's football. We will learn from this so it doesn't happen again.'

He continued: 'It's a bittersweet feeling, drawing at the death really hurts. But this team, with this attitude, is going places. We have to be proud of each and every player, the starters and the substitutes. Valencia are usually high up in the league and the further we are away from them, the better.

Now it's time to focus on Thursday's final against Krasnodar: 'We know how important the Europa League game is. This is the attitude we have to compete with on Thursday,' Sergio Gómez finished up.
