Seven of the eight away wins came with a clean sheet

Sevilla FC, with five league games remaining this season, still have options and will depend on themselves to finish the 2019/20 in the top four and qualify for next season's UEFA Champions League. The Nervionenses already have 57 points and go into the final five matches with three home matches and two away trips, and, after Tuesday's win in the capital, they now have the second best away record this season.

With 29 points, the Blanquirrojos's away record is bettered only by Real Madrid, who have 31 after 17 games. Sevilla FC have four more away points than Villarreal, five more than Atlético de Madrid, six more than Barcelona, and seven more than Getafe, who have the sixth best away record in the league.

Eight wins and five draws, with a goal difference of +7 goles, a good record for the side away from home

The Sevillistas have eight away wins from their seventeen matches, level with Villarreal, two more than Barcelona, Getafe and Real Sociedad, and three more than Atlético de Madrid. Sevilla also have a goal difference of +7 in their away matches, with demonstrates their strong defence away from home, maintaining seven clean sheets in those eight wins. Only Real Betis were able to score during a Sevilla away win, the 1-2 derby win in November.

The final two away trips take us to Bilbao and San Sebastián, as Julen Lopetegui's men look to finish the season off in style, as the side look to make their efforts away from home pay off in the battle for UCL qualification.
