SARABIA: 'IT WAS IMPORTANT TO FINISH THE YEAR AT HOME WITH A WIN'

The Madrid-born midfielder, who will be unavailable against Leganés next Sunday through suspension due to cumulative yellow cards, scored the second goal on Sunday against Girona FC

Pablo Sarabia was satisfied after the important win this Sunday in Nervión against Girona FC, a match in which he scored the all-important second goal: 'We're playing very well, we have a good understanding with the forwards, who bring a lot to the team and the goal is an example of that. The match leaves us happy, it was important to finish the year at home with a win. Now we just have to finish well next weekend to go into the break in a good position.'

The team have put together ten wins in a row in Nervión, which to Sarabia means that 'at home, with our fans, we're very strong. The team believes and trusts in itself, and that is what we have to do, to continue picking up points, especially at home.'

Asked if this was his best season at Sevilla FC, the player had little doubt: 'In terms of goalscoring, the numbers say yes, but the important thing is that the team are up there and that's what's most satisfying for me.'
