Matchday 6 in LaLiga sees Sevilla FC again travel to the Basque country, with the last time they visited there they left with all three points thanks to a pinpoint free kick from Jordán. Sevilla are yet to conede in their opening three away fixtures of the 2019/20 season, achieving nine out of a possible nine points. This time around, Eibar is the destination for Lopetegui's troops, who are looking to get back to winning ways after Sunday's defeat to Real Madrid at home.

Eibar, who host Sevilla tomorrow, are already under a bit of pressure at this early stage in the season as, along with Leganés, they are the only team to have not won a game in the opening five league games. José Luis Mendilíbar's men have drawn twice, and been beaten three times so far, as they occupy 19th place on the table. Eibar will face Sevilla in their second home game of the season, after having already played three games away from home.

The statistics neither favour one nor the other. On the one hand, Eibar have not been beaten twice in a rown since April 2018; and if Sevilla win tomorrow night, this will happen after losing to Espanyol last time out. Likewise, Sevilla are on a winning run away from home at the minute and, in addition, are yet to concede a goal on the road, keeping clean sheets in Barcelona, Granada and Vitoria. In the ten matches that the two teams have played against each other; Sevilla have won 5 times, Eibar have won once, with the other four ending in draws.

After Sevilla's final training session, Julen Lopetegui warned in his pre-match press conference that the team must have a clear idea of how and where they are going to play, describing Ipurua as a tough place to visit and that they will have to be ready to stop Eibar's gameplan. After the press-conference, the squad of 21 was announced.

The match will take place on Thursday 26th September at 19.00 at Ipurua. The referee will be González Fuertes, from Asturias. Soto Grado, from La Rioja, is on VAR duty.
