Time for another LaLiga Matchday for Sevilla FC. In Matchday 7 of the domestic seasonthe fifth for the Blanquirrojos, SD Eibar will be the second side to travel to the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán this season. This match is sandwiched between two UEFA Champions League matches for the Nervionenses, coming after Tuesday's 0-0 draw in West London against Chelsea FC and preceding Wednesday's home match against French side Stade Rennais. This is the second time that Eibar have travelled to Nervión in a matter of months, of course, with Lucas Ocampos's late heroics in that match still firmly in the memory. With Tomas Vaclík injured and no substitutions remaining, the Argentine donned the Number 1 jersey for a last-minute cornerand stunningly denied an effort from Eibar goalkeeper Dmitrovic to secure a famous 1-0 win

Julen Lopetegui's men go into Saturday evening's match after a first LaLiga loss in eighteen matches, falling to a narrow 1-0 defeat against Granada last Saturday. With seven points out of a possible twelve, and two games in hand, Sevilla FC will look to continue their strong home recordThe Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán has become something of a fortress in 2020with four consecutive wins at home without conceding, meaning a win would bring up five straight home wins, something that the Nervionenses have not achieved since 1978. The Blanquirrojos are also unbeaten at home this calendar yearwith the last defeat coming in mid-December against Villarreal

Sevilla FC have won their last four matches in Nervión, and kept clean sheets in all of those wins

SD Eibar arrive at the Sánchez-Pizjuán in fifteenth place in the tablewith five points in their six matches so far - one win, two draws and three losses. However, the Basque side come to Andalucía after picking up points in their last two matches, with an away win against Real Valladolid and a goalless draw at home to Osasuna. José Luis Mendilibar, the manager of the Armeros, will be unable to count on the services of Bigas and Recio, who are injured.

There are more selection issues for Julen Lopetegui and the Blanquirrojos. Koundé is still unavailable after testing positive for Covid-19as well as Jordán, who was dismissed last weekend at the Nuevo Los Cármenes. The manager also highlighted further selection issues at his pre-match press conference on Friday, stating that "we have some difficulties in some positions", while also praising tomorrow's opponents, believing them to be the side that "did us the most damage here last season".

The Matchday 7 fixture will be played on Saturday 24th October at 18:30 CEST at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán, and will be refereed by Hernández Hernández, from the Canary Islands. Jaime Latre will be on VAR duty.
