La Liga returns after a week uninterrupted by neither European nor cup matches, and Sevilla FC's only day off came on Monday after beating CD Leganés last Sunday afternoon.Although there were a number of absentees from training this week on certain days, Lopetegui was able to include both Fernando and Navas in the final squad, although unfortunately will have to do without Nolito. The match will be a significant one for Sevilla because from 21.00, they will embark on their 2,500th top flight match, something which only Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Atlético de Madrid, Athletic Club, Valencia CF and RCD Espanyol have achieved.

Sevilla FC, who currently sit third in the table on 30 points, go up to the north of the country to play their 16th match of the season against an Osasuna team who were on a long unbeaten run at home, until their last match at home when that run came to an end against Athletic Bilbao. Despite their strength at home, on Sevilla FC's last two visits to El Sadar, they have come home with the three points.

Sevilla FC have come home victorious from their past two games played in El Sadar

As for Osasuna, they currently sit in 10th place on 22 points. After getting beat in the Basque derby, they bounced back in style by beating Espanyol away from home, 4-2. However, they will have to face Sevilla without Facundo Roncaglia, who was sent off in said match in Cornellá. They will neither have Aridane nor Nacho Vidal, who both have picked up injuries.

Julen Lopetegui, Sevilla FC's coach, has taken 21 players to Pamplona and warned in his press conference that it will be anything but an easy game, seeing as CA Osasuna have made El Sadar a fortress. He urged his players to be "prepared for these types of games and to be focused on the work they have to do".

The match will kick off at 21.00 in the El Sadar Stadium. The referee will be Estrada Fernández, from the Catalan committee, and Mateu Lahoz will be in charge of VAR.
