Alex Telles, footballer for Sevilla FC, accompanied Jorge Sampaoli at the press conference to preview the return leg in the Round of 16 in the UEFA Europa League, where we will play Fenerbahçe SK tomorrow. The press conference took place within the Ciudad Deportiva, like it was before we played in Istanbul.

The Brazilian started by highlighting how "the group is feeling possible after two victories, which we really needed. Now we have a tough game coming up, we are only at half-time in the tie and we have to defend our advantage. We are ready and have some very experienced players to help us do this."

"I am here to help Sevilla wherever we play, whenever I am called upon, and whatever position they want me in. Obviously I am more used to playing on the side and at fullback than playing as a centre back, but I am happy enough to play anywhere", he added. Telles continued saying that "this is football and every team has their own tactics. Sometimes you have to make changes during the game, whether that be us or our opponent. The coach has enough experience to know what is needed in every moment, and us players have to try and get the result that we need."

The left-sided player stated that: "tomorrow we will be playing in a stadium with a great atmosphere, but we like playing in these kind of matches. We have experienced players, who are willing to leave their all on the pitch and we are ready for whatever happens in the game."

Telles ended by stating that "it is my job to play as well as I can. I don't think about the future because that is all dependent on the present. It is my job to train and to play. I am very happy here at Sevilla and I have been treated very well. It's my job to do my best as I might stay next season, but that is not important now."
