Alejandro Pozo was the guest on Tuesday's broadcast of A Balón Parado on SFCTV. The academy graduate spoke about the team this season, and assured us that "it's a dream come true. Being able to play for Sevilla at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán and being able to play in Europe is beautiful, I've dreamt of this since I was a little boy. Now I have to keep working hard so that I can play more for this club, hopefully I will play a lot".

Alejandro also highlighted the role of Jesús Navas, his childhood idol, in the team: "I learn so much from him. I'm playing in a new position and I try to follow his example. When I make mistakes or I'm out of position, he comes to me and helps me, he tells me things based on the mistakes he made. With the experience he has, he is one hell of a footballer. I take on board everything he tells me, and I try to improve. Your idol is talking to you".

Pozo also spoke about the current squad: "We have ambitions and goals to achieve. We are very determined and we are very excited to go out and enjoy every game. You can see the team always plays as one, we understand the manager's philosophy". Finally, he spoke about his aim to play for Sevilla this season after taking part in pre-season: "I was very excited to be in the squad. I knew what was coming, I was going to give it my all. 13 players arrived this summer and it's the most expensive squad we have ever had, with really good players. I knew what I had to do to make sure I could stay, I put my all into every game in pre-season and the manager has given me the chance to stay and prove myself, and I am enjoying it like a little boy would do".
