Lucas Ocampos was very happy after scoring in Sunday's derby win: "We're more than happy, we knew how big this match was. We prepared for it all week and now we've got all three points".
The Argentine made his derby debut and scored the opener: "My first derby, my first win, my first goal, I am so happy. Now it's time to celebrate, we deserve this party. We did a great job, and we're going home happy".
The Sevillista knows what was key to the win: "We always have the same attitude. We went in front, they levelled the scores and we knew they would come out fighting in the second half. These matches are like that, you suffer until the fina whistle. Betis are a good side. We knew how to dig deep and we've got three points, that's all that matters".
The winger spoke about how tight it is at the top of the table: "There are many sides fighting at the top of the table. It's a demanding league and every point matters. We are doing very well so far, we hope to continue like this". Ocampos also spoke about how important Luuk de Jong is in front: "We all know the quality he has. As well as scoring goals, which he has started to do, thank God, he is a player who works hard for the team, he holds the ball up well, fights for ninety minutes, he is a key player for us and we know what he does, we're very happy for him. He was able to score and this will give him confidence".
He also spoke about the importance of the fans: "It's great to play at home, but it's also great to play in a hostile atmosphere like that, it gives you a boost. The taste of victory is even sweeter".
