Thursday's sensational comeback against Athletic Club at the San Mamés has led to some statistics that really show the strength of Sevilla. After confirming European qualification for the sixteenth time in seventeen years, and going twelve league matches unbeaten (fourteen in all competitions), the Nervionenses will finish this season with the second best away record in the leagueonly trailing Real Madrid

With three points secured in Bilbao, Sevilla FC have 32 points away from home, thanks to nine wins, a 50% win ratioand five draws, falling to a defeat on only four occasions. The away record since the restart also makes for very good reading, picking up eight points from their matches against Levante, Villarreal, Leganés and Athletic. They are now clear of Villarrealwho have 28 points away from home, and are six clear of FC Barcelona, who could go level with Sevilla FC by winning their two remaining away matches.

In 2008/09, Sevilla FC got 35 points away from home; a win at Anoeta would equal that record

The Nervionenses have equalled their away points haul from 2014/15when Unai Emery's side won ten away matcheswhich Sevilla could equal with a win in their only remaining away match against Real Sociedad. A win there would also equal Sevilla's best every away record of 35 points, set in 2008/09 when Manolo Jiménez was manager

Espanyol, Granada, Alavés, Betis, Valladolid, Mallorca, Getafe, Leganés and Athletic Club have all been beaten by the Sevillistas, who have scored 28 and conceded just 20 on their travels this season, with only the trip to Real Sociedad remaining, where the team could round off an excellent season with a tenth away win
