In accordance with Sevilla FC's plan of international expansion and to keep growing in the Asian market, we have launched a profile on the Chinese social media platform Douyin. With this latest account, we now have three in China: We already had accounts on Wechat and Weibo. On Weibo, Sevilla FC had the largest growth of all La Liga clubs in December.

China is a country of strategic interest for the club and has been working on improving our reputation there. Our digital partner in the region is Mailman, while sponsors TLCBet and Valvoline amplify the presence of the Sevilla FC brand all around Asia.

With our release on Douyin, the idea is to keep growing and try to reach new audiences, of a younger profile who consume different types of content. In the first month, we have obtained 4,000 followers and 960,000 views.

In the 20/21 season, Sevilla FC saw a growth of 77% in followers and engagement. Another new approach this year for the Asian market were livestreams on Weibo. Last November, the club streamed a show ahead of Real Madrid-Sevilla FC which saw over half a million viewers. These streams will continue over the coming months.
