JESÚS NAVAS AND DIEGO CARLOS FEATURE IN THE UEFA.COM LALIGA IDEAL XI

The Spanish international is in red-hot form at 34 years old, and the Brazilian has spectacularly broken onto the scene in Spanish football

Yesterday saw the announcement of the Breakthrough XI, with two Sevilla FC players and a loanee, but today UEFA.com have announced their Ideal XI for the 2019/20 LaLiga season. Again, Sevilla FC are well-represented. Jesús Navas has been chosen as the right back, with the 34-year old picking up more minutes than any other outfield player. Diego Carlos was also chosen at centre-half, in what was his first season in Spanish football, and has been magnificent for Julen Lopetegui this season. The Ideal XI is as follows:

Goalkeeper: Courtois
Defenders: Jesús Navas, Sergio Ramos, Diego Carlos and Yuri Berchiche.
Midfielders: Casemiro, Kroos and Cazorla.
Attackers: Messi, Gerard Moreno and Benzema.

Manager: Zinedine Zidane.
