DIFFERING RESULTS FOR NAVAS AND DABBUR AGAINST ROMANIA AND NORTH MACEDONIA

Navas played the full 90 minutes and won, while Dabbur was substitued in the 75th minute and drew 1-1

Thursday saw a lot of action for Sevilla FC's internationals. After Bryan Gil drew with the Spain U19 team on Wednesday, yesterday was the turn of Jesús Navas and Munas Dabbur. With Spain, Navas played against Romania and with Israel, Dabbur faced North Macedonia; both games in qualifiers for Euro 2020.

Navas started and played the full 90 minutes in the victory over Romania, as Spain continued their unbeaten start and are still leaders of the group thanks to goals from Ramos and Alcácer. The next match for the Spanish team will be on Sunday at home, against the Faroe Islands.

Dabbur also started last night in the draw between Israel and North Macedonia. The hosts went in front through Zahavi, but the North Macedonian outfit equalised soon after. The Sevilla striker, who will be in action again on Monday, was substituted after 75 minutes. He also did put the ball in the back of the net, but it was disallowed. Israel stay in second place, four points behind Poland.
