Luis Fernando Muriel barely needed ten minutes to get on the scoresheet against FC Barcelona this Saturday at the Camp Nou. However, his goal came in added time and Rakitic had already made it 4-1. Even so, the forward described his emotions as 'positive in spite of the result. The first fifteen minutes we weren't fully switched on, and the lack of aggression killed us in those first few minutes. We always look to score goals, we had chances but we didn't take them and they, on the other hand, did. That made the difference. The team played well after those fifteen minutes and that has to encourage us a little. The result doesn't mean we have to let our heads or our moral drop, because we are doing certain things well.'

'They have a great goalkeeper. Shots that would go in on another day...today he was incredible. We didn't convert our chances but they did, and that made the difference. We competed, had possession and Messi going off helped. We're encouraged by how we competed after those first few minutes. With better luck and a less in-form goalkeeper, we could have got a different result,' added the Colombian.

'They have an excellent goalkeeper, on another day those shots would go in...'

Asked about finding the back of the net again, Muriel said, 'this goal fills me with strength. After being left out of recent squads, I worked very hard to show the boss how much I can give. His words these few days gave me the strength to keep working.'
