On Monday night, both De Jong and Dabbur featured at international level, for Holland and Israel respectively. Both sides were playing in their second EURO 2020 qualifier of this international break. Holland picked up a comfortable 4-0 away victory against Estonia, whereas Israel were beaten 3-2 away at Slovenia.

Both strikers came off the bench in the second half. Dabbur was brought on in the 61st minute and set up Zahavi's equaliser just two minutes later, levelling the scores at 2-2. However, Slovenia scored a late winner and dealt a huge blow to Israel's EURO 2020 qualification hopes.

De Jong came off the bench in the 71st minute, replacing his namesake Frenkie from FC Barcelona. Koeman's side were already 2-0 up in Tallinn, and went on to score two more, which brings them closer to both Germany and Northern Ireland in the table.
