MARCUCCI: "WE ARE EXTREMELY PLEASED TO PROGRESS TO THE NEXT ROUND"

Sevilla FC assistant coach, Ernesto Marcucci, was happy with the teams qualification to the next round of the Champions League: "We are extremely happy to progress in the Champions League. We couldn't find the back of the net and we were more nervous than the game demanded. We were slow, the cold temperatures and the pitch, the conceded goal...there weren't many spaces but fortunately Ganso found the equaliser that put us through to the next round".

Marcucci spoke about the change in mentality going into the second-half: "The idea was to move the ball at a quicker pace. We needed our use of the ball to be opportune. Navas coming on was a necessary substitution and we were finally able to score".
